The Festival is part of Fabulous Arts in Bassetlaw
We are still booking people, but the following are confirmed
•Boat Trips on the Trust's own tripboats
•Talegate Theatre Company performing "Tales from the Riverbank"
•The Raptor Foundation - including a flying display
•Worksop Sub-Aqua Club
•Canal rescue demonstrations by Notts Fire Service
•Ryton Chorale
•Ferret roadshow
•Segway rides
•Streetdancers
•Children's rides and sideshows
•Fishing
•The launch of a new canal-based novel "Jess Carter and the Oil Boat"
•Canoeing
In addition we will have several other Canal Societies, some boat builders, dozens of stalls of all descriptions plus food and drink and a Real Ale Bar provided by Brampton Brewery who are Corporate Members of the Trust.
We will have several marquees, one of which will have a stage for performances that will be running throughout the day.
The site is 200m from the A57 Worksop bypass. It will be clearly signposted. Turn off at the Sainsbury's/Lock Keeper pub roundabout. (SatNav S80 1TJ). There is parking on site. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the town centre along the towpath. It is 15 minutes walk from the station. Buses 7, 7C, 8 and 271 pass the site.
