Artist Summer Residency 2010
Hatfield Visual Arts College
During the summer holidays, Hatfield Visual Arts College will be hosting an Artists Summer Residency.
There is room to house 6 Artists in our spacious and light studios. The spaces are approx 6mts x 12mt. We are looking for artists (specialising in any media) to use our art classrooms as their studio space, work on projects, run workshops and continue to make their own Artwork in the work space provided.
Availability
The classrooms available from Mon 26h July 2010 to Fri 27th Aug 2010. The agreed times you can have access to the studio space is Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm.
Equipment and Facilities Available
Equipment that may also be used on request are television, phone (within reason, please request code when needed), computers, printer (within reason), photocopier (within reason, code needed), laminator (pouches must be supplied), kilns, spray booth (glaze only), slab roller, screen printing light box, glue guns (glue sticks must be provided), cameras, sewing machines, enlargers, and a compressor.
The Staff room has a number of facilities that you can use. Fridge, toaster, sandwich maker, boiler and sink. A sandwich shop is also allocated directly across the road from the College and The Hatfield's pub do lovely food round the corner.
Fee
In exchange for the use of the studio space for 5weeks, we request payment in kind to the value of £200 this could include delivery of a workshop/training session plus material or production of an Art Work specifically for the premises.
