Katherine paints, takes photographs and teaches painting and drawing.
An outdoors and nature lover at heart she feels it is essential for our existence to appreciate the beauty of the natural world. Intrigued by the beauty of the skies, weather and nature, Katherine explores light and colour in her painting which is influenced heavily by photography. Capturing something special in a photograph often leads to a painting. Some of her work is representational, some abstract, but always concentrating on colour and beauty.
She teaches painting and drawing, inspiring all in her path. Primarily an oil painter, Katherine competently uses all drawing media, mixed media, watercolour and photography. Some of her work is available in print. She teaches in and around Doncaster and South yorkshire and is available for painting demonstrations, workshops, private tuition and art classes.
