Graham Duckenfield has lived and worked most of his life in Doncaster.
He specialises in watercolors, mostly of landscapes, but is regularly commissioned to paint animals and architecture. He has exhibited work in local and regional exhibitions for many years.
After many years of being involved and working in the environmental movement, Graham has in recent times concentrated on producing a series of landscapes featuring Doncaster's historical buildings and landmarks, with the aim of encouraging people to appreciate the surroundings in which they live. He believes that seeing our familiar surroundings recreated in a watercolour painting often helps to give a different perspective to how we view our environment.
Graham's paintings feature in private collections all over the world, including: Ireland, Germany, Canada, Australia, USA and South Africa.
Graham works from his new garden studio at his home in Balby, Doncaster, which includes a small gallery to display his work. Visitors are most welcome by appointment.
