My work is largely experimental and exploratory, working with different 2 and 3 dimensional mediums. Free association linear imagery leads to linear figurative 'multi interpretational' figurative narrative. Abstract expressionism plays a significant role with regard to the physical, psychological and mathmatical/spatial aspects of the narratives.
As with music; rhythm, harmony and balance in relation to line, space, shape, colour and tone are continuing challenges.
I aim to choreograph/contruct a narrative, allowing the line, medium and learning process some independance in leading a 'story' to its ambiguous conclusions. Have recently engaged in abstract liear colour experimentation.
